This post is a first for pearlfectlylettered.com, but I’m sure it won’t be the last! Today I am sharing with you my experience purchasing my first pair of designer shoes! Let me start by telling you how much I LOVE heels – specifically stilettos! They are my favorite type of shoe. I know all women have their “thing” that they are just obsessed with or can’t live without. For some it’s jewelry. For others it’s handbags. For me – it’s a good pair of shoes.
I’m not sure why it has taken me so long to purchase a designer pair of shoes, but I am so glad I finally did it! I purchased a pair of Jimmy Choo Anouk pumps! Y’all…they are BEAUTIFUL!!! I got them in the nude patent and I am just in love with them!!!
I didn’t purchase them brand new. I wasn’t ready to spend that amount of money, just yet. I got these $650 shoes (if purchased new) for $210!!! I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not sure when I will be wearing them because I’m still working from home and I’m not 100% comfortable just going out doing things all of time; but I decided to purchase them pre-loved. I know that’s not a new concept to most of you (it’s not a new concept to me either), but I don’t know why it took me so long to purchase a designer pair of shoes.
I used Poshmark for this purchase. This wasn’t my first time using Poshmark and it definitely won’t be my last. The shoes were in almost perfect used condition. I am going to get a ton of wear out of these. I think nude patent pumps are essential for a wardrobe. They go with everything – jeans, dresses, slacks and they go with every color – white, black, pink, green…just everything!!!
