Hey pretty girl! Welcome back to the blog! I have been having the best time consistently posting on this little here blog connecting with you! I am so excited for what 2025 will bring.
In today’s post, I am sharing my favorite purchases of this year – my top ten to be exact. These items (mostly clothing) are highly recommended. They have truly made a difference in my wardrobe and I know that they can make a difference in yours. This was the first year that I made strategic purchases. I actually took a look in my closet, saw what needed to be added/updated and shopped smart. I shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, found the best jean brand and I didn’t really overspend. LOL!
BOTTOMS
Jeans are a wardrobe staple. Once you find a good jean brand, I recommend you stick with it. Because I wear jeans A LOT, I have been spending a little bit more on jeans over the past couple of years. This year I found this pair of jeans by Ramy Brook. They are a high-rise, dark rinse, wide leg jean. they are AMAZING!!! They denim is really soft to the touch and they elevate any outfit.
My most worn jean this year is by Paige. They are the Paige Claudine. Once I tried these on, I realized that Paige may be my favorite brand. I got them in a faded black rinse and I LOVE them! They go with everything in my wardrobe. I’ve worn them with sneakers, heels and sandals. The fit on Paige jeans is amazing. The lay flat against my back with no gapping. The only alteration I did to the jeans I cutting the step hem so that the hem would land right at my ankle.
I can’t say enough good things about these pants. If you are looking for a nice, affordable, ankle-length pant…these are it! They were one of the first purchases I made from H&M in years and I am so glad that I made the purchase. I love them so much that I purchased them in navy and beige. These pants are perfect for a day in the office or any other business casual event.

I don’t shop for clothing at Amazon often, but when I find good pieces I have to share them with you. This bodysuit from Amazon is not only super cute, but it is also affordable. I have worn it with jeans, pants and skirts.
I have gotten my fair share of wear out of this faux leather hooded puffer vest since the weather has turned cold. Not only is it stylish, it is extremely warm and it is affordable. It is the perfect layer for an elevated casual look.

ACCESSORIES
Schutz is becoming a new favorite shoe brand of mine. They are stylish, comfortable and affordable. I have been wearing these boots non-stop since the temperature dropped. They look so good with dresses and skirts. The v shape under the knee gives the boots a modern touch.
This tote is so stinking cute!!! I love the shade of pink!!! It is such an unexpected pop. It’s the perfect size handbag to carry everything. I think it would also make the perfect work bag if you don’t carry too much when you go to the office.
I bought this Brinker + Eliza bracelet this summer and I have been wearing just about every day. It’s such a statement piece without being so “in your face.”

THINGS FOR THE HOME
The bedding by Quince has aided me in the best night’s sleep. It’s extremely soft and it washes very well. I wash it every week and it has held up extremely well.
Can I let you in on a little secret? I believe that I am perimenopausal or I am tiptoeing around menopause. This menopause thing is something serious. I have hot flashes, I crave things I’ve never craved before and I have this taste for coffee almost everyday!!! I’ve never been a huge coffee drinker. I actually bought this Nespresso machine because I thought it was cool and the pod flavors were cool. LOL! Well…as fall neared in, I was talking to one of my friends about the weird craving for coffee and she was like “it’s probably menopause.” Now, I can’t say for sure if it is menopause or not, but I will say that I wake up most mornings (telework days) and have a cup of coffee. This coffee maker is so sleek and it makes the perfect cup o’ joe! I have mastered the white chocolate mocha. I look forward to sharing that recipe with you soon!
