Hey pretty girl! Welcome back to the blog! In today’s post I am sharing my most worn pieces during summer. This are the pieces that get the most wear out of my summer wardrobe. I work outside of my home at least two days/week, so I have to dress business casually on those days. Even when I get dressed for work to go in the office, I still find myself wearing the same pieces over and over. It’s not because I don’t have more than enough clothes in my closet, it’s because these pieces are my favorite. I love the way I look in them. They are classic and timeless.

I have a nice collection of white dresses, but there is one that gets a lot of wear in my wardrobe and it’s this one from Old Navy. I got it a few years ago and while it’s no longer available at Old Navy, I found something similar from Amazon that is equally cute. The reason I like this dress is because it’s lightweight, it has cut out details on the side, puff sleeves and it’s mini which is perfect during summer.
This dress from the Gap is a fan favorite. I get so many compliments when I wear it. It has tie straps, it’s midi length and it’s very pretty off-white color which is perfect for summer. Although it’s not available anymore, I found some good alternatives for you that will be sure to make a great addition to your summer capsule wardrobe. Here is another alternative from Lulus and another one from Target.
I underestimated the white t-shirt for years. I think I had always had one, but it wasn’t until I bought this t-shirt by Madewell that I started wearing white t-shirts regularly. A white t-shirt goes very well with blue jeans, denim shorts, white jeans, skirts, you name it…a white t-shirt pairs well with it. If you’re looking for a good white t-shirt, try this one.
I live in Alabama and we have very hot summers. Our summers are so hot that I don’t wear jeans often during the heat of summer, but I do find myself wearing white jeans at the beginning and end of summer when the temps aren’t too hot at night. These white jeans by Veronica Beard have become my absolute favorite. They have a high-rise, they have a kick-flare, raw hem and they aren’t see through. I went up a size in this pair.
I have owned these Schutz sandals for years, but it wasn’t until this summer that I got so much wear out of them. Not only are they extremely comfortable, they go with everything. They go well with dresses, jeans, pants; black, white or prints. They are the most versatile shoe in my wardrobe. This exact pair is no longer available, but here is a similar pair by Schutz.
Flip flops are a summer staple in the south. I don’t think I owned a pair of flip flops until I moved down here for college. This very inexpensive pair from J. Crew Factory (shown in the white denim photo and the romper photo) has quickly become a favorite. Leopard print is a neutral in my wardrobe. It goes well with everything.
This romper is new to my wardrobe (I think I bought it about a month ago), but I’ve worn it so many times already! I got it from Amazon to take on my trip to Destin and I’ve been wearing ever since. I wear it when I need to throw something on real quick or on those days when I work from home and still want to be a little cute.
I hope you enjoyed this post all about my most worn pieces from my summer wardrobe.
’til next time!
xo, Robyn
