Hey pretty girl! I have another luxury unboxing for you! I bought this YSL Card Holder around the same time that I bought my LV 6 Key Holder. If you haven’t read that post, you can find it here. I have been eyeballing this beauty for a few months and I decided to go ahead and buy it! Just like my 6 Key Holder, I absolutely LOVE this card holder.
YSL is a new luxury brand to me – not in knowledge, but in my collection of luxury goods. I definitely intend to purchase more items from the brand in the future. Let’s get into the unboxing of this beauty shall we!
I purchased the card holder from FarFetch and not directly from the YSL website because they had the color that I wanted. Like most, if not all luxury brands, the card holder came in a pretty box and the card holder was in a black dust bag. These dust bags really come in handy when traveling or trying to organize small items.
First and foremost, I bought it in this really pretty pale/neutral pink color with the gold YSL logo plaque. I had to have it. Pink has become a neutral color to me in recent years and it compliments my wardrobe a little bit more than black. I decided to go with the YSL card holder over an LV one because it had more card slots. The LV card holder comes with two slots and a center opening (one in the front and one in the back) whereas the YSL card case come with four slots and a center opening (two in the front and two in the back) which of course equals more storage for cards/cash.
The card holder is 100% calfskin leather and I LOVE it!!! I can easily fit two cards in each of the slots without the case feeling or looking really bulky. The gold YSL plaque on the front of the card holder just makes the card holder for me! I love that it so shiny, but not blindingly shiny…if that makes sense. It’s a nice shiny gold that just makes a statement.
If you are in the market for a luxury card holder, this one won’t disappoint. It comes in a few different colors as well, so you have plenty of options.
