Hey pretty girl! Welcome back to the blog. In today’s post I am sharing the three styles of jeans you need in your fall wardrobe. Jeans are the most worn piece in my fall wardrobe outside of dresses. Jeans are a wardrobe staple for me and most women. I wear jeans all year round, but I wear them more during fall and winter.
There are two styles of jeans that I have LOVED forever, they are straight leg and wide leg. I always have straight let jeans in my wardrobe, but for the past few years or so I have been on the hunt for a really good pair of wide leg jeans. There are a few requirements wide leg jeans have to have in order for me to buy them.
- They must be the darkest of dark denim.
- They have to have a long inseam.
- The stitching can’t be white.
- The denim has to be soft.
Wide Leg Jeans. I found the perfect dark wide leg jeans for fall and I can’t wait to wear them. These jeans by Ramy Brook are perfection! They are the right rinse, they have a great inseam (I actually had to get them hemmed) and they are extremely soft with dark stitching. The price tag was a little high, but I believe they are worth it. The inseam is so long that you can’t even see my shoes, which is what I look for in wide leg jeans.
Black Jeans. I’ve been wearing the same straight leg jeans from Loft for over 5 years! They are a good medium blue rinse and they have a very wide cuff which I LOVE! I knew that I needed to update my jeans wardrobe, so I went with these ankle flare leg jeans by Paige. Paige has quickly become my favorite jeans designer. The denim is super soft, they are high waisted and there is no gap! I went with the Abbey color which is a faded black color and they are pretty. They were originally a frayed angle ankle hem, but I cut them straight because they were a little long on me. If you want to see how I cut the hem of the jeans, you can watch this video.
Flare Leg Jeans. The last pair of jeans that you should add to your fall wardrobe is a flare leg. I also got these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I love them. They are perfect. No alterations required. The Paige Laurel Canyon High Waist Flare Jeans are extremely flattering. The denim is super soft and there is so gap.
