Hey pretty girl! Welcome back to the blog! In today’s post I am sharing my fall wardrobe wish list. It’s not a really long list, but it is something that I thought would be cool to share with you all. Fall is hands-down my favorite season of the year in all aspects of life – wardrobe, gardening, the weather…it is simply put – AMAZING!!! That being said, let’s dive into what I want to add to my wardrobe this year for the upcoming fall season!
A navy blazer. This has been on my wish list for the past couple of years as I have paid closer attention to the pieces that I wear repeatedly. In 2021 I noticed that I wore a ton of blue during the fall and winter months. I probably wear more blue (specifically navy) more than any other color….even more than black. I already own a few black blazers (which is a wardrobe staple for all of us), so I don’t need another one. I decided that I needed a navy one. I’ve been looking at a few and I’m going to share my top picks with you. This one by Rag & Bone is my top pick. I like that is Ponte which makes it perfect for the mild fall weather that I experience in Alabama. However, I do prefer a more classic style of blazer and I have been eyeing this one by Veronica Beard for a while now.
A designer wallet. I’ve been using my Saint Laurent card case for about three years or so and I need an upgrade. It is really cute, but it doesn’t hold a ton. I’ve been stuffing all my essential cards in I the whole time I’ve had it, and I think it’s time for an upgrade. I can’t decide if I want to go with the LV zippy coin purse or this one by Chloe; but what I know is that I need a compact size wallet like yesterday.
A black crossbody bag. I am a large handbag girlie. I mean I LOVE a large tote bag; however, they aren’t all that practical. I typically carry my larger bags during the fall, but I do feel like the bag that’s missing out of my wardrobe is a black crossbody. For this, I am thinking about going vintage with a good ole Coach Saddle Bag. I’m planning to purchase this from Poshmark or another pre-loved site so that I don’t spend too much money on the bag. I also think this one by Tory Burch is a good option at a reasonable price point.
I also need to update my lingerie wardrobe. I am what the industry calls a loyalist. I find a brand that I love and I stick with until I can no longer stick with it. For years I have been loyal to Soma (there is nothing wrong with Soma), but I have tried another brand which I think I want to try a little bit more. That brand is Wacoal. During the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I purchased this bra, and I LOVE it. I want it in a more neutral color for my skin tone and possibly black. I am also in need of another strapless bra (I love this one by Wacoal) and probably a couple of lace bras – just because. I also bought a few different types of shapewear. As you get older, you know…yeah…you know. As a result, I have been trying different things to keep me smooth and sucked in as much as possible without sacrificing comfort. I’m not in need of a ton of compression, so I’ve been wearing these so much and I think they are perfect for those who don’t want/need a ton of compression. They are seamless and they are comfortable. I’ve also worn these by Wacoal under dresses which just smooths lumps and bumps. Knowing this, I realized that I need to look at my lingerie totally different now and will be looking to replenish my and restock my wardrobe with more appropriate lingerie. I’m looking at this bra by Wacoal and these underwear by Spanx.

Workout attire. I’m not going to lie y’all. I have been wearing the same 4-5 pairs of leggings since 2020…maybe even 2019. I LOVE Lululemon Align leggings. They are buttery soft and they look amazing on just about everybody. I also love Athleta leggings. I’ve been looking at their Elation leggings. I’ll be sure to share a try on video of them when I try them on. My co-worker who likes Lululemon leggings recommended an Amazon brand, so I may try those as well. I typically buy black leggings, but I’m feeling navy a lot lately. I think I’ll end up with at least one black pair and a navy pair.
I hope you enjoyed this post all about the pieces I’d like to add to my fall wardrobe. What’s your own your wish list? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
’til next time!
xo, Robyn
