RAG & BONE RETRO RUNNER SNEAKERS: THE MOST WORN SNEAKERS IN MY WARDROBE
Hey pretty girl! Welcome back to the blog. In today’s post I’m telling all about my most worn sneakers. These are hands down, the sneakers that get worn with outfits when I want a really casual look. I’ll let you in on a little secret, I don’t really like sneakers. Although I don’t really care for them, I have quite a few pair in my closet. The reason for that is as much as I don’t like them, there is a need for them. There’s always going to be a time when I need to wear a t-shirt and jeans for sorority stuff and/or volunteering, they are perfect to wear when traveling and they are kinda cool.
The Retro Runner sneakers by Rag & Bone are so comfortable, chic and very stylish. I bought my first pair last year and I still get compliments when I wear them. They are the best combination and style and comfort. I’m not a huge fan of prints, but animal print (particularly leopard) is a neutral in my closet. I think the combination of browns and blacks just make them the perfect print for my classic style. When I saw these, I had to have them. They were (and still are) the most expensive sneaker I’ve ever own; but they are also the most stylish and comfortable.
During this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I spotted these white sneakers by Rag & Bone. They are the same style as my leopard pair, but in an off-white color. I have been on the hunt for a classic white sneaker for years. I’d tried on P448 and Golden Goose sneakers, but they just weren’t for me…and Golden Goose sneakers are just too expensive for a girl who doesn’t wear sneakers that often. Almost all reviews that I read said to size up in these sneakers, but both pair that I have are a 7.5 and they fit amazing! I think I ordered a size 8 the first time and returned them because they were too big.
When I want that Golden Goose look, I pull these sneakers out by Vintage Havana. They are super cute and easy to wear, but they aren’t as comfortable as the Retro Runners. They feel a little tight on my feet right where my pinky toe is, but they’re more comfortable when I wear socks with them. I ordered this pair in a size 8 and I would say that they fit TTS.
All the sneakers that I’ve shared in this post look great with loungewear, activewear and jeans. They are the perfect shoe when you want to be comfortable, chic and stylish while casually dressed.
I hope you enjoyed this post all about the most worn sneakers in my wardrobe. What is your favorite sneaker? Let me know in the comments below. I’d love to know!
’til next time!
xo, Robyn
