Best Buys from Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024: Fashion Essentials
Hey pretty girl! Welcome back to the blog. In today’s post I am sharing all of the fun things I bought during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This year was the first year that I thought out my selections with the intention of building my wardrobe. I absolutely LOVE clothes. I think that looking good is one of the most important things one can do when presenting themselves to the world. I am taking more interest in ensuring that every piece that I buy complements my wardrobe or has a place in it.
I am one that believes that less is more and I’ve always believed that quality was more important than quantity. Over the last few years, I have donated clothes, shoes and handbags to ensure that styling myself is one of the easiest things that I have to do each day.
JEANS
I had a few pairs of jeans on my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Wish List and I tried my best to buy all of them. Jeans are my favorite type of bottom to wear – especially during fall and winter. I was able to buy all of them except for these Mother jeans, but I ended up keeping two – Paige Laurel Canyon Flare Leg Jeans and the Paige Claudine Frayed High Waist Ankle Flare Jeans. This pair in the Catamaran rinse and this faded black pair in the shade Abbey are probably my favorite purchases from the sale. Flare leg jeans are not only trending, but they are very flattering on the hourglass figure. I also like that these are a good medium blue wash which makes them perfect for fall. This faded black pair is also from Paige met a gap in my wardrobe. I needed a good pair of black jeans, but I wanted them to be a little faded. I also like that they are cropped with a slight flare. I got a size 30 in both pair so I would say that they run TTS (true to size).

dresses
I was only able to snag one dress, but it is perfect for my wardrobe. I love wearing navy dresses during fall and winter. I think navy looks really good with caramel colored accessories (which is my absolute favorite color for accessories) and this dress doesn’t disappoint. The Caslon Long Sleeve Organic Cotton Belted Dress is the perfect length for work and any other professional occasion with a business casual dress code. I ordered the dress in a size Medium and it fits amazing, so I would say it runs TTS.

LINGERIE
I was only able to get one piece of lingerie which was this bra from Wacoal. The Wacoal How Perfect Wire Free T-shirt Bra is the most comfortable bra that I own! I wear it under t-shirts or casual pieces when I just want to be comfortable and not worry about underwires or anything super constricting. I ordered my regular size (36D).
SHOES
I was also in need of a pair of white sneakers. Rag & Bone is hands down my favorite brand for sneakers. Prior to buying this pair, my Rag & Bone Retro Runner sneakers were my most worn sneakers. They have a fun leopard print and they are extremely comfortable. This new pair is even more comfortable which I didn’t think was possible. This pair also a Retro Runner but it’s in the Seed Pearl. Although most of the reviews say that the shoe runs small, I’m in between sizes and I wear a 37.5 in both pair.
