August is here—and summer is still going strong. While some are starting to whisper about fall, I’m still fully embracing linen, slides, and sun-soaked days. But just because the weather hasn’t shifted doesn’t mean I can’t reset my mindset, my routines, and how I approach getting dressed.

If July felt chaotic or like it flew by in a blur, this is your moment to pause and realign. Today I’m sharing my intentions for August, plus a few go-to pieces that are making these hot summer days feel a little more effortless—and a lot more polished.

MY AUGUST INTENTIONS

This month I’m focusing on:

Consistency – showing up daily on LTK, Instagram, and my blog with clarity and value
Structure – building a daily rhythm that works with my lifestyle (not against it)
Ease & Elegance – curating outfits that feel chic, breathable, and intentional—no overthinking required

This isn’t about reinventing myself. It’s about gently coming back to what works.

NO WARDROBE RESET - JUST A REFOCUS

I haven’t packed away a single summer item—and I’m not pulling out layers just yet. What I am doing is getting super clear about what I’m wearing on repeat and making sure those pieces are front and center.

Here’s how I’m keeping it simple:

Reaching for lightweight fabrics (like linen and cotton) in neutral tones
Sticking with comfortable slides and sandals I can wear from Barre to brunch
Choosing dresses with movement and structure—a Pretty Prim must
Rotating a few go-to accessories to elevate the look without adding heat
