Hey pretty girl! Welcome back to the blog. In today’s post I’m sharing three of my favorite concealers. I want to caveat this post by reminding you that I am not a make up expert and I just starting wearing make up around the same time I started the blog. LOL! I know that may sound pretty sad to some of you, but I love my skin and it really wasn’t until the last couple of years that I started wearing minimal make up regularly. I am beginning to enjoy putting on a face of make up before going to work, sorority meetings and events and going out with friends. I instantly feel prettier once I add a little something to my face. In the picture above, I’m wearing the Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer and a bold lip by Mac. The lip shade is called High Drama and it is my favorite lip shade during fall and winter. When I don’t feel like putting makeup on, I will wear mascara. Here are my favorite mascaras as of late. On the days when I go into the office and I don’t wear a full face, I wear concealer under my eyes and on my lids. If you are the woman who likes your skin or you don’t feel like you need to wear a full contoured face of makeup, concealer is a great product to even out your skin tone – especially since for so many of us the under eye area can be a tad darker than the rest of the skin on our faces.
GUCCI CONTENTRE DE BEAUTE MULTI-USE creaseproof & hydrating concealer
I bought this concealer during a trip to NYC. It was my first Gucci beauty product and I fell in love with it. I think it’s perfect for spot concealing as well as concealing the entire under eye and lids. The product is very cream and the shade 46N is a perfect match for my skin tone. I love the packaging of this concealer the most. The bottle is very sleek and the floral design on the applicator is very pretty.
TARTE SHAPE TAPE FULL COVERAGE CONCEALER
This was the concealer that I enjoyed using the most. What I love most is that the applicator is so wide it makes applying the product so easy – especially for those who like to apply concealer to more areas of the face and not just spot concealing. I wear shade 53N in this concealer and I would say it’s a perfect match.
DIOR FOREVER SKIN CORRECT FULL COVERAGE CONCEALER
This concealer is the latest that I’ve tried. I love the applicator. It’s nice and wide which makes for easy application under the eye area and on the lid. The product is very creamy and feels good on the skin. It is also very lightweight. I LOVE the packaging. It comes in a glass bottle which has a nice weight to it. The branding is minimal, but it’s still a sleek bottle which would look good on any vanity. In the Dior concealer, I wear shade 5N and it is a perfect match.
